Title

Put as many relevant details as quickly fit. Prepend title with "CLOSED:"

Date and Time

Check All Day.

For a closure beginning mid-day, use All Day; include the time of closure in the title.

Start

Use the date when the location will first be closed. If renovation begin on a Monday, but the library is normally closed Sunday. Use Sunday as the start date for the closure event.

End

Select the number of days the location will be closed. Do not include the day the location reopens.

Description

Use present tense to describe the closure event. Include any instructions for patrons for using the library during the closure.

Bordeaux Branch is closed from Wednesday, October 15 until Sunday, October 19, for sidewalk repairs. We reopen on Monday, October 20. Use book return outside the entrance.
