Add a Homepage Slide

Home Slide

Add a New Home Page Slide

  1. Go to Content > Add Content > Home Page Slide

  2. Fill out the form:

    1. Title: This is the title of the event or program.
    2. Image: Image size needs to be 1200x600 pixels.
    3. Alt Text: Write brief alt text describing the image.
    4. Select that state(s) where this slide show be displayed on: Choose “Tennessee”
    5. Learn More auto link URL: This is for the registration link or link on the website where people can learn more about whatever we’re advertising.
    6. Body: Give a brief description. This should be no more than 275 characters or approximately 40 words. See https://wordcounter.net/character-count to help you trim down your description to a good size.
  3. Click on “promotion options” and check the box next to “Promoted to front page”

  4. Check the “published” box and Save.

  5. Verify the slide is visible on the home page and displays as expected.

Reorder Home Page Slides

  1. Go to Content > View Content > Home Page Slides > Sort Slides

  2. Select "Tennessee" in the state drop down box. Select "true" in the promoted to front page drop down box. Then click “Apply” to see all the currently published home page slides.

  3. You’ll see a list of all the slides. Click and drag them to put them in order using the handle on the left side of each row (circled in the image below).

  4. After you drag a slide, a message will appear telling you that you have unsaved changes.

  5. You MUST scroll to the bottom and click “save order.”
