Add or Update Content on Bucket Site#

Update Site Content#

Edit Existing Content#

If you are off-site, you will need to log in to VPN to interact with Bucket.

  1. Open an SFTP client (Cyberduck, etc.).

  2. Log in to Bucket. Login should be in a password manager.

  3. Navigate to the correct directory.

    1. Firesign: Used by MarCom to manage digital signs.
    2. Assets: Contains startpages, documents, images, css and JavaScript, and other assets we link to from other websites.
    3. Salon: Custom HTML site for Salon@615 series.
    4. Nashville Reads: Obsolete HTML site for Nashville Reads. Site is now on NPL website.
  4. Open the page you need to update in a text editor, like Atom or VS Code.

  5. Make your changes and save your work. Upload to the server if it wasn't uploaded upon save.

  6. Visit the updated page to verify that the changes are present.

Add New Content#

  1. Create a new page in a text editor, like Atom or Sublime Text.
  2. Make your changes and upload them to bucket.
