LibCal Maintenance#

Add Branch Study Rooms to LibCal#

  1. Set up LibCal.
  2. In LibCal, go to Admin > Spaces & Equipment.
  3. Edit the branch.
  4. Select the General tab.
  5. Update the description to include study rooms. Copy the description from the Donelson location in LibCal.
  6. Select the Spaces & Categories tab.
  7. Create a new category for Study Rooms. Set it up exactly like Donelson Study Rooms are set up.
  8. Add each space to the Study Rooms category. Get details on each room from the branch manager/staff.

  9. Update NPL Website:

  10. Update the top of the study room amenities page to list “advance reservation” branches at the top of the page. Use the study room link from LibCal.
  11. Update this page: https://library.nashville.org/amenities/group-study-rooms
  12. Add branch to study rooms page. Use the study room link from LibCal.
  13. Update this page: https://library.nashville.org/services/study-rooms-system-wide
