Sponsors

Add new sponsors to the system as taxonomy terms. Images, links, and text are updated in one place.

Add a sponsor to a page using the sponsor component. On most pages, sponsors are added on their own tab. Sponsor logos are automatically resized when displayed to the user.

Sponsors have several options:

• Titles can be h2 or h3. Titles are optional.
• Sponsors can be displayed as logo-only or name-only.
• You can add multiple sponsor sections.

Add a New Sponsor to the Sponsor Taxonomy

You must be a site admin to add items to any taxonomy.

1. Go to Structure > Taxonomy > Sponsor

2. Click Edit.

3. Click Add Term.

4. Fill out the form.

   1. Name: Type sponsor name that is visible only to site admins.
   2. Sponsor Name: Type sponsor name that will display when we show “sponsors by name only” on a page.
   3. Sponsor URL: Enter the URL for the sponsor website.
   4. Sponsor Logo: Upload a transparent background image (if available). Image should be at least 300px square (or in that range). Sponsor logos are automatically resized when displayed to the user, so the image can be any size.

5. Save.

Add Sponsors to a Page

1. Select the Sponsors tab. Then click the "Add Sponsors" button.

2. Heading: If your sponsor section has a title, select h2 or h3.
   

3. Title: If your sponsor section has a title, add it here.
   

4. Display Mode: Choose if the sponsor will be displayed with their logo or as the name only.
   

5. Type the name of the sponsor to bring up a list of all sponsors. Select the sponsor you want to add.

6. If you need more than one sponsor, select the "add another item" button.
   

7. If you need mutliple sponsor sections (diamond sponsors, gold sponsors, etc.), select the "Add Sponsors" button under your first sponsor section.
   

8. Save page.
