How to Add a Talking Library Podcast#

  1. Add the show name to the correct taxonomy: Structure > Taxonomy > Talking Library Shows. Taxonomy terms need the following info:

    1. Image
    2. Description
    3. XML feed URL
    4. Topic

  2. Add a page for the show: Content > Add Content > Sub-Page

    1. Title: Needs to match the taxonomy term. When the taxonomy term is “Hourly Weather Forecast” then use “Hourly Weather Forecast” as title for the show page.
    2. Parent Link: In the right sidebar, find the parent link and set it to Nashville Talking Library > On Demand. This has to be done to ensure the page will display correctly.
    3. Add the Show Paragraph Type: Add the “Talking Library Episodes by Show with Header” paragraph type. Then select the show title from the dropdown.
    4. Go to the tagging tab: Tagging & Display Utilities
      1. Flag Sub-Page Type: Select Talking Library.
    5. Save.

  3. Add the feed: Content > Feeds > Add Feed

    1. Title: Match the taxonomy term name and title in the XML feed.
    2. Feed URL: Use URL for source of the XML feed.

  4. Go to the sub-page you made for the show. Verify that episodes are display.

    1. If episodes are displayed you can publish the page.
    2. If no episodes are showing, do feed troubleshooting.
